I am a full time private tutor based in Harrow, London. I offer both face-to-face and online tuition.


I specialise in KS3 and KS4 Mathematics and Physics, School entrance exams and Specialist career exams (such as OASC selection tests, Numerical Reasoning tests, etc).

I am especially equipped in helping people with neurodiversities such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism.

In my spare time I enjoy painting, board games,
Live Action Role Play, and Dungeons and Dragons.

Vitruvian Tuition draws on the architectural principles of
Marcus Vitruvius Pollio to help build up students abilities,
confidence and enthusiasm.

The Three Key Pillars are as follows:

Firmitas (Strength)

I aim to bring the absolute best out in all my students, so that they can go into exams with confidence, achieving the grades they deserve.

I help them to develop a strong foundation of knowledge, understanding the purpose behind what is taught, as well as what is expected of them in their exams in order for them to tick each and every box and achieve their greatest potential.

Utilitas (Utility)

The purpose of education is far from allowing you to pass the next test. There are so many transferrable skills within each subject!

Teaching the practical applications makes everything so much more relevant and interesting, and a firm grasp of a subject is a great way to boost confidence and help in so many different aspects of life!

Venustas (Beauty)

Students should be inspired to see the beauty in their subjects, finding fulfilment simply from doing them and expanding their understanding.

So many disciplines are interlinked, so there is always going to be some connection to each individual; for example, the creative arts, such as art, music and theatre, can all be connected to the sciences. I wish to show the applications of each subject based on the interests of my students.

Teaching can do so much more than just help you pass the next exam.

I believe it should also help you become well rounded, enthusiastic and ready for life!

  • Over 1000 hrs Teaching experience

  • A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics
  • Accredited TEFL Certification

FAQ

  • Are you CRB/DBS Checked?
    I have an Advanced DBS Certificate and I am happy to show it to you at the start of the first lesson!
  • What’s your availability?
    I am happy to teach Any day of the week, and can teach between 10am until 10pm, subject to availability.
  • Can you teach in-person?
    I am happy to travel to local clients for home tuition and can also teach in local libraries and community centres.
  • What age groups do you teach?
    I largely teach the KS3 and KS4 curriculum, but am happy to do so for all age groups, from gifted primary age students to adult learners.
  • Do you accept adult learners?
    Yes!
  • Do you set homework?
    I am happy to provide practice questions after each lesson on request.
  • How do I sign into the lesson?
    I will send a link via email, approx. 20 mins before the start of the lesson.
  • What platform do you use to teach?
    I primarily use Zoom, but also teach via MS Teams and Skype. If there is a request for a specific platform, I will do my best to accommodate!
  • What curriculums do you teach?
    For GCSEs, I teach AQA, Edexcel, and WJEC.
  • Do you provide lesson feedback?
    I am happy to email feedback detailing what went well and what areas could be improved at the end of each lesson.
  • Do I pay in advance?
    I request payments to be made at least 24 hours before the lesson.
  • Cancellation Policy?
    I request 24 hours notice for any cancellations/rescheduling and am happy to offer a full refund for any such cancellations. However, I cannot offer refunds for last minute cancellations/ non-attendance.
